Educator Launch

The Henry County Chamber of Commerce is proud to support Henry County Schools in its pursuit of educational excellence by sponsoring the 2020 Educator Launch, formerly Teacher Induction Program (TIP) on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.  The Launch is part of a week-long orientation of new teachers to the Henry County School System.  The Chamber sponsors this event to welcome the teachers to Henry County, but we need your help to make it a success. 

Approximately 350 new teachers will soon be arriving to join the largest employer in Henry County.  They not only will provide educational opportunities for our children but will also have a significant impact on our local economy.
 
We are asking Chamber members to help fund the event, and/or provide 350 items representing their businesses for teacher gift bags. (Please download sponsorship form.) All items for the gift bags must be received by 4:00 PM on July 16, 2020.

Below is a list of preferred items, developed by teachers, for the gift bags. *These are items often needed in the classroom each year.  When you donate 350 items for new teachers, not only do you advertise your business, but you reduce the out-of-pocket costs for teachers to stock their classrooms.  We hope you find value in helping Henry County’s newest teachers start off on the right foot!  Items must be received by 4:00 PM July 16, 2020!
 
*Please, no glass or re-usable bags can be accepted!
 
*Printed advertisements such as promotional flyers, brochures, etc. will not be accepted unless it contains a coupon for FREE items not requiring additional purchases.
