Career Fair - IA & AAS Seniors & Juniors

Businesses are invited to represent their business and career field at the Career Fair with Impact Academy and Academy for Advanced Studies Seniors and Juniors on Wednesday, March 27 from 8:45 – 11:30 AM. 
 
Setup and breakfast will occur from 8:00 - 8:45 AM. Seniors and Juniors from Impact Academy and the Academy for Advanced Studies will rotate through your tables from 8:45 - 11:30 AM.  Takedown will occur from 11:30 - noon.  Students will prepare resumes and practice interviewing skills prior to meeting with you. You will speak with students about current and future career opportunities.   Your participation can be for hiring or providing information about a career.  We're excited about this opportunity for our students and grateful for your time and expertise. You are welcome to invite other businesses to participate as well so that a variety of careers are represented. Please complete the signup form so that we have the necessary information about your participation.  On event day, you will enter at the Impact Academy entrance and be directed by staff. Joan Prisk is the host and point of contact. Joan will not be accessible by email on the morning of the event but can be reached by cell at 770-318-1782.  Impact Academy's address is 45 Lemon Street, McDonough, GA.  We are excited to expand our event space this year. We will use the gym lobby as well as the upstairs level of the gym.

On the day of the event, you are welcome to bring your own table or have one provided to you (indicate in the sign up link).  You are encouraged to bring applications, brochures, flyers, QR codes, business logo merchandise, etc. We hope to have about 200 students visit the Career Fair.  Some students will be looking for immediate employment and some will be looking for information about future careers and employment.  Please place a sign at your table to indicate if you are hiring. Also, bring a contact form or digital tool to collect students’ contact information if applicable.
