Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month

Dementia affects 47 million people worldwide and the Alzheimer’s Association is on a mission to help raise awareness. June marks Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month and gives us the chance to start a global conversation about the importance of brain health.

In honor of Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, we are inviting everyone to participate in it by going purple for the month of June.   There are many ways to participate in Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month.  Purple is recognized as the official color of the Alzheimer's movement and everyone are encouraged to wear purple all month long to show their support.  If you need idea's, please feel free to contact me at 678-713-6720. 

But wearing purple is just the beginning.  On Saturday, September 21, 2019, we all will be coming together at Alexander Park - West Entrance, 120 Jonesboro Road, McDonoough, GA  30253 to spread awareness and to raise funds so that we can help with advanced dementia research and caregivers support.  We invite you to join us today by registering on our website 2019 Walk - Henry County, GA | Walk to End Alzheimer's.
