Prevent Child Abuse Henry County - Candlelight Vigil

We will be kicking our month long initiative to bring awareness and prevention of child abuse to the forefront with a Candlelight Vigil. The Vigil is a collaborative effort of Prevent Child Abuse Henry County, Southern Crescent Child Advocacy Center, A Friend's House, Connecting Henry, Haven House and DFCS. Throughout the month of April, we hope to provide a visual reminder of the need for child protection in our community. Several local organizations, business and individuals are planting a garden of "Pinwheels". As the symbol for child abuse and neglect prevention, the Pinwheel is an uplifting reminder of childhood and the bright futures all children deserve. We invite the community of Henry County to join us in the fight to stop child abuse!
