Community Dialogue - Michael Baptiste, VP of MAC DEI
The Metropolitan Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (MAC) launched the ATL Action for Racial Equity in 2021. The initiative leverages the power of Atlanta's regional business community to advance racial equity through collective impact. Over 250 area businesses committed to the initiative when it launched making it a force to drive change. One year later, driven by MAC's Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Michael Baptiste, the results of the research and reporting have been published for use by the business community in addressing systemic racism, inequity, and immobility by individual organizations.
Michael will join us on Community Dialogue to share insight on the progress of ATL Action for Racial Equity in the business community and how elevating DEI is important to metro Atlanta maintaining its competitiveness in our global economy today and into the future.
