Education
Henry County Schools -- Home to 5 National Merit Finalists in 2013!

Henry County understands that education is the biggest driver of economic development.
Thus, the community and the Henry County Chamber of Commerce strongly support our public school system, private schools, and higher education institutions.
Henry County Schools is striving to be in the top 10% of school systems in the nation.
These efforts have resulted in two of our high schools being recognized in the top 6% of high schools in America by Newsweek Magazine. As we grow, we will continue to make significant strides toward academic excellence and the goal of attaining a 100% graduation rate.
Mentoring has been shown to have a tremendous impact on the academic performance of students. The HCCC Education Committee and Henry County Schools are dedicated to connecting the business community with Henry County students in need of a great mentor.
