City of Stockbridge To Host COVID-19 Care Package Distribution Drive Thru on Saturday, June 6, 2020
Stockbridge, Georgia- June 4, 2020- The City of Stockbridge will host the COVID-19 Care Package Distribution Drive-Thru on Saturday, June 6, 2020, from 9 am to 12 pm at the Merle Manders Conference Center located at 111 Davis Road in Stockbridge, Georgia. Masks and sanitizer will be given out while supplies last. The care packages are available to all community members on Saturday morning. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, attendees are encouraged to remain in vehicles as a precaution. City officials will approach vehicles to distribute the care packages near the front entrance of the Merle Manders Conference Center near the main ballroom. This event will occur rain or shine.
"The City is grateful to be able to help the community by distributing these COVID-19 care packages, " said Stockbridge City Manager Randy Knighton. "Based on the CDC guidelines, we are encouraging the use of masks in public and social distancing. We are in this as one community. We shall see everyone on Saturday."
