    Title: Tax Assistant Manager                                              
    Department: Finance

    Reports to: General Accounting Manager                                
    1. Review corporate tax returns prepared by tax advisors
    2. Assist with research and plan according to current tax impact of proposed company activities and transactions
    3. Implement strategies to minimize corporate tax liability in accordance with current tax laws 
    4. Manage notices on tax audits by tax authorities
    1. Prepare income tax provision schedules
    2. Review income tax estimation and maintain the company’s tax payment record
    3. Review income tax return prepared by tax advisors
    4. Make sure that the company comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
    5. Identity legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
    6. Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
    7. Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications
    8. Maintain tax incentive schedule and follow up the submission requirements
    9. Perform tax research and memo writing regarding issues the company encounters
    10. Respond to notices from tax authorities                     
    11. Performs additional duties and special assignments as required
    1. Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    2. Should be able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues.                
    3. Should have strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities               
    4. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required              
    5. Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
    6. Master’s degree in tax preferred
    7. Three or more years of work experience in a tax accounting environment
    8. Certified Public Accountant preferred

    1. Accountable to Manager/Director for all phases of activities.
    2. Close coordination within finance and with other department for all phases of their activities
    3. Advises, consults, and coordinates with:
      1. Top Management: tax compliance issues
    Middle Management and Supervisors: as needed
