Back to School in the Era of COVID-19: Strategies and Tips to Empower Parents
NCNW Henry-Clayton Section Health and Wellness Committee, presents a virtual community discussion on Thursday, October 1 at 6:00 p.m. The panel discussion starts at 6:30. You can register for this free event here. This virtual event will focus on providing strategies and tips to empower parents as our children return to school in the era of COVID-19. Guest speakers include Superintendents, Dr. Morcease J. Beasley of Clayton County Schools and Dr. Mary Elizabeth Davis, of Henry County Schools. Other panelists include Angela Horrison-Collier, Ed.D., Director of Student Services, Clayton County Schools, Audrey Hamilton, Nutrition Services Director, Clayton County Schools and Kantrell Brown, Executive Director of School Nutrition, Henry County Schools. The goal of this event is to create citizenry goodwill and to allow the Healthcare Science students from Stockbridge High School to gain onsite learning opportunities. This event is free and open to the public. You must register to participate.
