HERITAGE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FAST FACTS:
The Heritage Community Foundation began in 2015 by a group of Heritage Bank employees seeking a tangible way to support the good work being accomplished in our local community by not-for-profit agencies and organizations.
Since beginning its work in 2015, the Heritage Community Foundation has provided over $500,000 of grant funding to more than 100 local non-profit groups!
100% of donations are invested back into the community. No portion of any donation is used for “operating expenses”. All of the Foundation’s operating expenses are paid in full by Heritage Bank. 100% of your donation is used to support the work of non-profit groups in our community.
The HCF funding comes from Heritage Bank employees, local businesses, individual gifts and fundraising efforts.
HCF focuses support for non-profit groups and agencies serving Henry, Clayton and Fayette Counties.
The average grant amount is $2,700 used to support the work of qualified local non-profit organizations.
The HCF Board of Directors is made up of Heritage Bank volunteer employees. The HCF Board has established a set of grant guidelines and qualifications that the organization’s requesting grant funds must meet.Every organization requesting a grant from HCF is thoroughly screened to assure they meet the HCF standards and guidelines.
