Atlanta Motor Speedway – Known for Real Racing. Real Fast. Henry County is the proud home of Atlanta Motor Speedway, a 1.54 mile track that is one of the premier motorsports facilities in the country. Two annual NASCAR Nextel Cup Series races rev up the crowd at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the two largest single-day sporting events each year in the state of Georgia. NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and Busch Series racing also bring thrills to the Speedway. Thursday Thunder Legends and Bandolero racing showcase the talents of the region’s up-and-coming drivers for 10 weeks during the summer. •Annual Festivals – Henry County hosts several annual festivals. Ole Stockbridge Days is held in Stockbridge while the Hampton Fall Festival and Locust Grove Day are held in those respective cities.

The Brown House Circa 1826 – this was once home to Andrew McBride, a Revolutionary War hero from South Carolina. Mrs. Asa Brown owned the home in 1874, added a second floor and turned it into a hotel. It was restored in 1988 and now houses the Henry County Genealogical Society.

Panola Mountain State Conservation Park – This unusual park is the location of a 100-acre granite monadnock (mountain). A National Natural Landmark, the ecology is very carefully preserved at this minimally developed park.
