Our committees are the heart of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce. As a member, you are encouraged to get involved by joining one of our committees. Business Ambassadors
Promote and represent the Chamber in a highly professional manner at key events such as the golf classic, luncheons, ribbon cuttings, etc.

Membership Development
Oversees Chamber membership recruitment and retention so that the Henry Chamber generates sufficient members and membership revenues to support needed programs.

Media Relations
Ensures the mission, successes and other key messages of the Chamber are getting to members and the community at large in an effective manner, utilizing the Chamber's monthly publication, henrycounty.com and the Chamber's website, www.henrycounty.com.

Existing Industries Council
Understands the needs of the existing industry (manufacturing and distribution), the current status of the individual community (lay-offs, new hiring activities, expansions, etc.) and ensures the Chamber is focused on the priorities associated with the needs of these industries.

Small Business Council
Concentrates on the needs of small business, the current status of the business community and ensures the Chamber is focused on the priorities associated with small business needs.

Cultural Development
Works to increase the quality of life in Henry County by being a catalyst within the community to support and attract the arts and other cultural events to the county.

Transportation
Develops partnerships and works closely with other agencies and individuals at local, state and federal levels to address Henry County’s transportation needs.

Conservation & Preservation
Develops and implements projects to beautify Henry County including the improvement / maintenance of significant roadways.

Education
Develops partnerships with educational institutions in Henry County and Georgia to strengthen educational opportunities for the region; helps build a strong workforce making Henry County an attractive location for business and industry.

Government Affairs
Develops partnerships with federal, state and local government agencies and key elected officials to assure our input on public policies affecting local business and the community.

Golf
Responsible for the planning, development, organization and implementation of all measures required for a highly successful annual golf classic.

Expo
Plans, develops, organizes and implements a highly successful annual business Expo, offering Chamber members the opportunity to showcase their products and services to potential customers.
